Standard Toolbar and Formatting Toolbar
Within a room full of computers, there may be someone who will change the setup of a computer for their temporary needs and not return it back the way they found it. These changes usually involve the Standard and Formatting Toolbars moved out of order, or not appearing at all. What can you do to resolve this problem?
Go to the Tools menu of the Menu Bar. In the Tools drop-down menu, click Customize. Find and click the following tabs:
Toolbars
In the Toolbars window, make sure the following items are checked:
- Standard Toolbar
- Formatting Toolbar
- Menu Bar
Options
Make sure these first two boxes are checked:
- Show Standard and Formatting Toolbars on two rows
- Always show full menus
